Comparison of the economic development of Visegrad countries since 2000

The aim of this thesis is to compare the economic development of the countries of Visegrad four (V4) between the years 2000 and 2016 via the macroeconomic indicator of GDP. Text is divided into a theoretical and an analytical part. In the first part, the studied formation is described as well as the GDP indicator and the methodology of Eurostat, whose data are analysed in the second part. The thesis examines the economic development of the group mainly through annual GDP growth rate and GDP per capita indicators. Macroeconomic context is generally acquired from reports, data or publications of the national institutions of V4 countries. Synthesis of the findings showed that while the short-term economic development in the V4 can differ, from a long-term perspective the studied economies are edging closer.
Macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic after admission to the European Union

The thesis deals with the analysis of macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic after admission to the European Union. Attention is also paid to development of gross domestic product and its structure. The thesis also mentions the interpretive limitations of GDP and some alternative indicators. The last part focuses on the process of real convergence and comparison with the countries of EU.

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the development of the Czech Republic and Slovakia after joining the European Union in comparison with the other economies of the Visegrad Four. It examines primarily indicator of GDP. The thesis also deals with the process of real convergence to the EU-28 and with factors that have an influence on it, such as labour productivity, employment and unemployment but the influence of population aging or population education is also mentioned. Subsequently, the thesis analyses nominal convergence in the countries of the Visegrad Four.

The bachelor's thesis is focused on analysis of macroeconomic development of the Czech Republic since its accession into the European Union and its comparison with the members of the Visegrad Group. The main focus is on the indicator of gross domestic product. Alternative indicators are also analyzed, in particular gross national income and real gross domestic income.

The main goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to compare the economic development of the countries, which are members of the Visegrad group. Three main macroeconomic indicators are used for this purpose (gross domestic product, inflation and unemployment). This thesis is divided into two parts- theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the description of the V4 and macroeconomic indicators, which enables better orientation in the practical part. There is comprised the analysis of the development of single states (the Czech republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary) itself. The analysis is divided according to these indicators and then according to the single states. The summary contains the valuation of the development of the countries, which was found during the work.

The main goal of this Bachelor's Thesis is to capture and compare the development of the economies of the countries, which are the members of the Visegrad group. The analysis is provided by using the three major macroeconomic indicators: gross domestic product, inflation and unemployment in the period 2000 - 2013. The analytical part contains the definition of these indicators; description of their methods of calculation and shows their importance in the economic analysis. The practical part is focused on the main goal of this work, the macroeconomic analysis of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovak republic. This analysis is divided into several chapters according to the indicators, and sub-chapters according to each country. The conclusion summarizes the similarities and differences in the development of the countries, which were obtained during the processing of this work.

The paper characterizes the main features of the czech macroeconomic development in the time period 1995:1 - 1999:3 stressing the decrease in nominal GDP growth especially in 1999. It discusses the analytical framework being able theoretically explain the Czech macroeconomic story. The dynamic model for an open economy with government sector has been constructed and several simulation exercises imitating Czech macroeconomic development have been made.

I've decided to focus on the effects of monetary policy that was executed by the central bank in particular years. The final outcome of the macroeconomic analysis is the evaluation of the success of monetary policy executed by the central bank.
The relationship between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market in the Czech Republic

The objective of this thesis was to determine relation between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market in the Czech Republic in phase 2000 {--} 2005. The description of macroeconomic development and the development on the capital market is partial objective. Also this thesis describes changeover from centrally planned economy system to free market economy before year 2000, actual development, trends and determining factors. The evaluation of the relationship between macroeconomic indicators development and the development on the capital market was based on a macroeconomic part of the fundamental analysis.
